The Danvers Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in an attempt to identify the individual responsible for two recent bank robberies. On August 15, the Beverly Bank, 29 Elm St, was robbed at 10:15 am. On August 24 at 1:10, the Citizen’s Bank, located within Stop & Shop at 301 Newbury St, was robbed. The suspect, who is depicted below, is believed to be a white male, approximately 6’ tall with dark facial hair and wore a gray zip up hooded sweatshirt, a black flat-brim hat, sunglasses and latex gloves during both robberies.
