Firearms licensing for NEW APPLICANTS will be conducted between the hours of 1pm and 4:00pm.

Firearms applicants may come to the police station for licensing at any time during the posted hours of a licensing day and will be processed on a first come, first served basis.

Because criminal investigation emergencies can occur at any time applicants are strongly encouraged to verify that the licensing date has not been cancelled prior to coming to the station. Last minute cancellations will be made on our facebook and twitter pages.

RENEWAL APPLICANTS: If you hold a CURRENT FID/LTC in Massachusetts, please mail or leave your application along with copies of all required documentation and payment to the attention of Detective Eric Clarizia.

Applicants should ensure that they arrive at the police station with a completed application, a check payable to the town of Danvers for the correct fee amount, and any supporting documents required. A complete list of required documents and fees can be found on our website under the firearms information page and posted in the lobby of the police station.

If you have general questions about firearms licensing please check our website as it contains many answers to frequently asked questions and forms to download.
